About me
Zane Flores
Product Designer building AI-powered tools that balance real user needs with smart, accessible design to help digital products grow and scale.

My story
I started out as a technical design intern for half a year, and that's when it clicked — design was the perfect way to bring the things I wanted to build in life into reality.
Right after school, I dove deep into learning design principles, systems, and the craft behind intuitive experiences.
Since then, I've worked on a range of projects across UI/UX, graphic design, and branding. Each one helped me grow, collaborate with incredible people, and constantly push myself — not just as a designer, but as a thinker and maker.
These days, I'm working on multiple projects. I design websites and mobile apps for clients, and spend the rest of my time building personal work that keeps me creatively grounded.
I lean toward minimal design, because for me, less is more. I like visuals that speak clearly, give you exactly what you need in seconds, and leave room for meaning to breathe.
Outside the pixels and paddings, I'm probably riding my motorcycle across provinces, playing games that sharpen my creative thinking, or hanging out with my dog.

How I work
Product Discovery
I don't start designing until I understand why. What's the real problem, who's actually affected, and what does success even look like? That's where I start.
Design with intention
Every pixel is a decision. I don't add things because they look good. I add them because they do something. If I can't explain why it's there, it's gone.
Ship and learn
I'd rather get something real in front of users and be wrong than spend weeks perfecting something nobody asked for. Ship it, watch it, fix it.
